We have created a stunning range of French Style Military style straps. Also known as French Marine National Elastic Military style straps. Our straps have a soft woven, high quality elastic nylon! Our buckle is made with a solid 316L stainless steel brushed buckle - there is no compromise on quality as 316L stainless steel is highly resistant to heat and corrosion. It is also used in marine applications so makes it perfect for the use in our watch straps.

During the 1960's and 1970's the French Navy (- the Marine Nationale) issued their underwater combat divers with commercial divers watches from Tudor, Doxa, Triton and ZRC.
Although the watches were tough and met the military specifications the straps were often too small and non-adjustable so the divers struggled to fit them over their thick rubber wetsuits. So the MN divers used to choose and make their own straps.
Some of the divers used elastic webbing cut from the straps of French Army parachutes to make a single pass watch strap. Due to their simple steel buckle and hook the straps were comfortable and could even be adjusted with one hand.

If you have a great watch but it's uncomfortable to wear then you need to swap the strap.

These MN Style elastic Military style Straps are arguably the most comfortable strap you will ever wear. Because of the stretch and elasticity the straps will expand and contract with the natural swelling in your wrist. This makes them exceptionally comfortable for any kind of sports or exercise even with the heaviest of Divers and tool watches.

Notes: Spring bars require removal and then putting back in for the fitting of this strap.

Perfect fit. Very comfortable and easy to adjust. The MN straps are tough enough to stand up to tough usage. That they are so easily adjustable makes them quick to put in over sleeves. When you are outdoors and we'll wrapped up with gloves and need access to your watch simply extend the strap and wear it on the outside. Convenient and quick. The build quality of the straps are fabulous. I've got 2 and will definitely be purchasing more. Quick delivery too.
